Hi there, a quick 10 facts about me:

1. Back in 2016, I hit Grandmaster in Overwatch ranked. Price: Failing two exams.

2. I did it on a ThinkPad X1 Carbon, a business laptop with no dedicated GPU.

3. Speaking of which, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon is the best choice for a business laptop. Former finance analyst me said so.

4. But in my junior year, I built my own desktop PC from scratch… and decided to leave finance behind.

5. On this very PC, I got destroyed by Iudex Gundyr (Dark Souls 3’s first boss) 20 times.

6. 5 years later, I became an experienced action game designer, nearly conquered all Souls games, and brought this PC’s RAM with me to the U.S.

7. Following up on that—Miyazaki Hidetaka is the man who’s been with me the longest during these years. Thanks to him, I never run out of bosses and level designs to draw inspiration from.

8. Side note: I absolutely love Breath of the Wild. And… not sure about you, but I was once very addicted to Genshin Impact, not the gacha part.

9. This January, I hit Grandmaster in both Overwatch 2 and Marvel Rivals while getting straight A’s in school. Turns out, upgrading your PC does make a difference.

10. Just like when 19-year-old me built my first rig—Every step matters. There are more adventures ahead, and I’m ready.
